Thank goodness for Pauline's Auto!!! My water pump on my CRV died(original 1997). But it was tricky , every time it was tested it was "fine"! But then 6 months later the radiator fluid would drain out. Jen at Pauline's, kept on it and was able to find the broken water pump, even when the pressure test said it was fine. She knew it wasn't. And she was able to get me a great price on a new water pump! The service is just amazing! They even have coffee hot and ready for you while you wait. Remember they explain everything Before they work on your car and after they finish working on your car! These wonderful people truly know what Service means! Gina in Sebastopol

Pauline's is a great shop if you want a mechanic you can trust to take good care of you and your car in a timely manner. They also do great things for the community. I highly recommend them.

Jen is great to work with. I was on a budget, and she helped me steer clear of maintenance that wasn't necessary to do right away. She diagnosed my car for free. She is knowledgeable, friendly and doesn't talk down to you. I also wanted to change my CV axel myself, and Jen went above and beyond by recommending parts and giving me advice. New owners? Charged $750 for a Ranger alternator replacement! $300 Or less at the dealership. Also, after a previous repair replacing a thermostat gasket, we discovered missing parts, broken clips and damaged or missing tape on the electrical. They didn't charge the air conditioning system when we had a $200 service done on another vehicle prior to that! We gave them another chance and now the are trying to charge more than 2xs the listed book repair cost. We are very disappointed and will not be going back there. Consumers beware! Update on the broken clips etc. Apparently Paulines only fixed what we could see! They told us we had a leak from the thermostat gasket on the Ranger. They charged us $400 to replace the thermostat housing gasket. We ended up taking it to the dealer when the silicon they put on the gasket came out and the truck had to be towed after loosing all of the coolant on the freeway . We had a cracked thermostat housing? Huh? Also Ford asked me who did the last repair? And do we want to replace the $53 in clips, missing vacuum hose etc from whoever worked on it last. Ford saved the broken parts for us so we could show the mechanic at Paulines. Happy to report there have been no issues since the dealer made things right.
